| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014 Mobile Mini implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core system to centralize equipment tracking and financial control. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to serve ERP Financial processes across finance, logistics and operations, establishing a single system of record for inventory and asset accounting.
Mobile Mini pursued the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment because growth by acquisition had produced many disparate inventory systems, and even after ERP deployment there remained manual and paper driven workflows that limited real time visibility. Theft and lost assets were highlighted as a major business challenge tied to that visibility gap. The company evaluated SAP Fiori templates but required customized, advanced offline management tools for inventory, job site tools and logistics that operate where connectivity is not ubiquitous.
The implementation combined core financial module configuration including general ledger, accounts payable and fixed assets with extended inventory and logistics master data inside SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to tie physical equipment records to financial ledgers. Architects paired the ECC core with a mobile layer that provided device agnostic clients, local caching and offline synchronization so field transactions and job site inventory counts could reconcile into the ERP Financial records when connectivity was available.
Governance work centered on reconciling asset records between field workflows and SAP, defining offline sync conflict resolution, and formalizing approval and reconciliation touchpoints between operations, logistics and finance. Custom development within SAP was treated as critical to deliver the advanced offline features required, while integration into SAP remained the central architectural constraint to ensure asset movements updated financial accounting.

The deployment included SAP Employee Central Payroll and established a unified core HR data model, HR master records, and payroll engine configuration. Functional capabilities implemented included employee lifecycle management, organizational and position structures, and payroll event processing workflows consistent with Core HR operations.
Integrations focused on feeding timekeeping and benefits data into the payroll engine and producing HR feeds for downstream financial and operational consumers, supporting payroll runs and workforce administration. Operational coverage centered on HR and Payroll departments in the United States, with system usage concentrated on centralized employee record management and payroll processing.
Governance was reoriented toward a single HRIS model, with updated workflows for employee data stewardship and payroll approval chains, and the implementation of SAP Employee Central Payroll was reported as successful.

| LiveChat, Inc. | Legacy | LiveChat | Chatbots and Conversational AI | AI-Powered Application | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Mobile Mini deployed LiveChat as a customer-facing chat solution on its public website. LiveChat is used as part of the Chatbots and Conversational AI layer to support online lead capture and customer support workflows for Mobile Mini, the Transportation company.
Deployment centered on embedding the LiveChat widget across web pages to enable synchronous messaging, session management, chat transcripts, and agent handoff. Configuration work emphasized web widget customization, routing rules to direct inquiries to customer service and sales teams, canned responses for repeat questions, and an agent console for live response and chat logging. Implementation focused on channel-level conversational orchestration rather than core back-office changes.
Operational scope covered customer-facing digital channels and front-line customer service and sales functions, with governance oriented to chat handling procedures and transcript retention policies. Rollout included staged activation across site pages and agent training on the LiveChat interface to align conversational workflows with existing support processes. The Mobile Mini LiveChat Chatbots and Conversational AI deployment establishes the web chat layer as the primary conversational touchpoint for online inquiries.
