The platform was fed by consolidated ERP and operational data stores and structured data feeds, enabling consolidated reporting across finance, commercial, supply chain, and asset management functions. Data extraction, ETL handoffs, and scheduled data refresh processes were instrumented to support recurring operational reports and ad hoc investigative queries without referencing specific prior systems.
Governance was established around a BI center of excellence model, role based access control, report cataloging, and change control for Universe and report updates. Operational rollout prioritized developer enablement and formalized report lifecycle workflows to maintain semantic consistency and to manage report proliferation within the Analytics and BI environment.
