In 2012 Mondragon Assembly implemented Ibernova RPS Next as its ERP Financial application across all production plants, including deployments in Spain, Mexico, France and Germany. Ibermática was selected to carry out the implementation of the RPS 2012 business management software, highlighting a 100% service oriented architecture approach for the ERP Financial deployment. The implementation emphasized process orchestration and the generation of organisational efficiency metrics, with functional emphasis on multi project management and collaborative workspaces. Ibernova RPS Next was configured to support the technical office workflows and to formalize cross functional processes, aligning engineering data flows with manufacturing planning and project control capabilities. Integration work focused on CAD environment connectivity and data continuity between engineering and operations, explicitly planning a technical office integration via the Solidworks EPDM RPS linkage. The deployment scope covered production and manufacturing functions across regional sites, and included creation of a Centre of Excellence to host collaborative development with third parties. Governance and selection were overseen by a consultancy from the University of Mondragón following a year long evaluation of ten ERPs, and the rollout was described as phased, with an initial focus on intra company process consolidation and a second phase for global integration across manufacturing subsidiaries. Mondragón Assembly Systems Director Roberto Sánchez framed the project objective as implementing a comprehensive management system to achieve natural integration between the technical office and other areas through the union of Solidworks EPDM RPS, and then extending global integration to all manufacturing subsidiaries.
