In 2021, Monext implemented SAP BusinessObjects to operationalize Analytics and BI for internal ticket tracking and banking transaction reporting. The deployment focused on producing reusable reporting artifacts to surface operational ticket data and payments transaction feeds for internal stakeholders.
Implementation work centered on SAP BusinessObjects universes as the semantic layer, with SAP BusinessObjects dashboards developed alongside QuickSight for complementary visualization needs. Data analysts were responsible for creation and modification of universes, dataset modeling using SQL and Oracle SQL Developer, and authoring BusinessObjects reports and QuickSight dashboards to support ticketing and transaction workflows.
The data pipeline integrated Zendesk via API extraction into an ETL flow built on Pentaho Data Integration, with transformed datasets persisted to cloud data storage on Redshift. The architecture therefore combined SAP BusinessObjects as the analytics front end, Pentaho for transformation, Redshift for centralized storage, and API feeds for operational sources, enabling a governed semantic layer and standardized metrics for ticket management and transaction monitoring functions.
