In 2014, Mos Food Services implemented Rikuop to create a centralized cast recruitment site called Rikumos and to deploy an applicant call-centre supporting chain-wide store hiring and multilingual recruitment in Japan. Rikuop, a Recruiting,Applicant Tracking System, was used to centralize applicant intake and operationalize HR hiring workflows for Mos Food Services across its retail estate.
The implementation configured Rikumos as the branded front-end for candidate attraction and intake, with Rikuop managing applicant tracking, candidate screening workflows, scheduling and multilingual candidate communication. The deployment emphasized ATS capabilities typical for Recruiting,Applicant Tracking System use cases, including centralized job posting, candidate status tracking, and workflow orchestration between the call-centre and store hiring teams.
Operational scope covered chain-wide store hiring in Japan, with the applicant call-centre acting as a centralized intake node to route candidates to individual stores and to support multilingual recruitment needs. The implementation shifted store-level sourcing activity into a centralized recruitment operation, aligning candidate routing and interview scheduling through Rikuop-driven processes.
Governance changes included centralizing recruitment ownership and standardizing store hiring workflows under the Rikuop platform and the Rikumos portal. The deployment delivered substantial outcomes that were reported explicitly, including about 1,200 hires in the first year, improved recruitment efficiency and reduced cost per hire, and a reduced hiring burden at the store level.
