Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2000 2018
In 2000, Move.com implemented Oracle E-Business Suite in the ERP Financial category. The deployment used Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 as the corporate financial backbone and as the Customer Data Hub integration point for Move.com. Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 was configured to support core ERP Financial functionality including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, subledger accounting and fixed asset management, with controls and period close workflows aligned to enterprise finance operations. Configuration emphasis included standard financial ledgers, accounting event processing and accounting period controls to support consolidated reporting and transaction orchestration across web properties. Integration architecture was built on Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA Suite 11.1.1.7 to orchestrate interfaces between Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and Salesforce, Siebel CRM 8.1, Peoplesoft Finance and various existing legacy systems. The database environment spanned Oracle 8i through 11g and Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008, supporting move.com, realtor.com, rentnet.com and internal business applications while enabling customer master synchronization and transaction level accounting feeds. Operational ownership included design, development and ongoing support for the middleware, database stacks and application interfaces, with governance focused on change control, interface monitoring and reconciliations between CRM and finance systems. Support coverage targeted finance and customer operations across the company and the portfolio of consumer web sites.
