In 2020, Mowi implemented Medius AP Invoice Automation for AP Automation to complement its Infor M3 ERP across the organization. The deployment responded to a complex IT landscape driven by organic growth and mergers and acquisitions, which had produced fragmented business applications, limited data synchronization and constrained global visibility for accounts payable processes.
The Medius AP Invoice Automation implementation focused on core AP Automation capabilities typical for the category, including electronic invoice capture, automated approval routing, invoice matching and exception handling workflows. Configuration emphasized standardized approval policies and automated routing rules to align AP processing with Mowi finance controls, preserving the inbound invoice lifecycle from capture through posting into Infor M3.
Integration architecture centered on Medius strong cloud connector to Infor M3, enabling bi-directional data flows between Medius AP Invoice Automation and Mowi’s M3 instances. The project was scoped as a global roll-out to support multiple M3 deployments, and the cloud connector was a decisive factor in vendor selection to ensure consistent connectivity and data synchronization across sites.
Governance for the program established centralized AP process ownership within group finance and defined consistent workflows and exception management practices to reduce variance across business units. Mowi’s selection rationale, as stated by the Group IT Business Applications Manager, emphasized Medius proven track record with Infor M3 customers and the connector capability needed to support a global roll-out.

| Hexagon | Legacy | HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Mowi implemented HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) as its Enterprise Asset Management platform. The initial implementation targeted the company processing plant at Ulvan in Hitra municipality and was positioned to support field technicians such as auto mechanics and electricians within Mowi's fish farming and processing operations.
The HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) deployment emphasized core EAM capabilities including work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, asset register and configuration management, planning and execution of maintenance tasks, and project document management. The system was configured to capture and document work orders for PLCs, HMIs, process machines and electrical systems, and to support maintenance planning, troubleshooting and routine preventive tasks.
Operational coverage extended across maintenance, automation, production and project teams at the Ulvan plant, with users responsible for maintenance of the factory's process equipment and support systems. The implementation mapped business functions such as maintenance execution, troubleshooting in production and auxiliary systems, and project support into defined EAM workflows, aligning technician activities with system work orders and documentation requirements.
Governance under the HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) rollout focused on standardizing preventive maintenance and improvement plans, formalizing the preparation, planning and follow up of new projects, and embedding responsibility for work order documentation and execution into local maintenance processes. The platform was used as a professional resource for automation development, and for driving the company Top System efforts through structured maintenance and project workflows.
