| BasWare | Legacy | Basware AP Automation | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 MPW Industrial Services Group implemented Basware AP Automation to support Accounts Payable operations, deploying Basware AP Automation as the central AP Automation application for invoice intake and processing. The deployment is described in operational notes from an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Hebron, CT who began daily processing of vendor invoices through Basware in November 2019.
The implementation covers automated invoice capture and processing workflows, exception routing and supplier inquiry handling consistent with AP Automation capabilities, with staff performing daily mail opening and transactional processing through the Basware interface. The MPW Accounts Payable Specialist also processed invoices manually directly into the JD Edwards accounting system, indicating a mixed workflow where Basware handled automated invoice processing and JD Edwards was used for ledger posting and check issuance.
Operational governance centers on a daily processing cadence and a weekly check run averaged at 350 checks per week, with AP team responsibilities including vendor inquiry responses and special assignments as needed. The configuration therefore supports centralized AP workflow orchestration for invoice intake and exception management, with manual posting procedures to JD Edwards and established check run operations managed by the AP function.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, MPW Industrial Services Group implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne HCM as part of a comprehensive JD Edwards upgrade completed at the end of August 2018, delivering a Core HR capability to support payroll and human resources across the company. The Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne HCM deployment was executed as a company-wide ERP upgrade, positioned to integrate HR with broader operational modules and enterprise infrastructure.
The implementation consolidated functional modules including Finance, HR, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Taxes into a single JD Edwards platform. MPW has a long history with JD Edwards dating back to 1992 for payroll, with incremental module expansions in subsequent years and a major performance update to JDE Version 9.1 in 2012, which informed configuration and upgrade planning for the 2018 release.
Infrastructure and operational resiliency were central to the upgrade, with the new deployment leveraging faster processing, increased memory and storage, access to backup power sources and generators, automated hardware redundancy, three copies of automated backups including one off-site, and real-time monitoring and alerts. These architectural choices reflect an emphasis on availability and hardware-integrated failover, aligned with enterprise hosting and backup strategies.
Governance and rollout followed a nearly two year project timeline, with cross functional testing by more than 50 MPW associates and focused application support and development leadership from Tony Miller, John Kujawa, Danny Toler, Tina Sebastian and Zach Fountain. The go-live produced only a couple of minor issues and no widespread end user downtime, supporting a company-wide operational cutover, and MPW signaled its next large scale IT initiative as implementation of ICG’s Electronic Work Orders.

In 2012, MPW Industrial Services Group deployed Quadient Neopost IN-600 as its Mailing System. The Quadient Neopost IN-600 installation centralized postage metering in the corporate mailroom and established formal workflows for operating the machine, logging postage spending, and managing postage supplies, aligning day-to-day mailroom procedures with standardized operator tasks.
