In 2016, MTA implemented Pronto WMS to streamline warehouse and distribution processes across its Australian operations. MTA, an automotive company with approximately 150 employees, deployed Pronto WMS as its Warehouse Management solution to centralize inventory and fulfillment workflows within the companys logistics footprint.
The Pronto WMS deployment focused on standard Warehouse Management capabilities, including inventory control, receiving and putaway, picking and packing, order fulfillment orchestration, location management, and cycle counting. Configuration work emphasized role-based operational flows for warehouse staff, barcode-enabled transaction processing, and rules for stock allocation and replenishment consistent with distribution center operations.
Operational scope covered MTAs warehouse and distribution functions in Australia, aligning warehouse execution with commercial and parts distribution activities. Governance and process changes included formalized receiving to shipping procedures, inventory governance checkpoints, and documented warehouse workflows to support consistent execution across sites. Pronto WMS was positioned as the core Warehouse Management application supporting MTAs logistics and supply chain business functions.
