Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 MUFG EMEA implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform to centralize core payables, procurement and expense processing. The deployment focused on supporting end users on Oracle Accounts Payable, Oracle iProcurement and Oracle iExpense modules and delivering structured user training to finance and procurement teams. This implementation positioned Oracle E-Business Suite as the primary ERP Financial application for accounts payable, procurement requisitioning and employee expense management. Configuration work emphasized standard ERP Financial workflows, including supplier invoice capture and routing for approvals in Accounts Payable, catalog and noncatalog requisition flows in iProcurement, and policy-driven expense capture and approval in iExpense. Operational coverage included frontline finance and procurement user support and a structured training program, with support users assigned to the Accounts Payable, iProcurement and iExpense modules to provide ongoing assistance and knowledge transfer. Governance changes concentrated on formalizing approval workflows and training curricula to drive consistent use of Oracle E-Business Suite across the relevant business functions. Ongoing support and user enablement were core elements of the rollout, ensuring the ERP Financial application was embedded into day to day payables, procurement and expense processes.
