In 2016, Muller UK implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 under an ERP Financial program to standardize and control cross-plant goods movement across its UK operations. The engagement was based in Shrewsbury from June 2016 to October 2016 and focused on onboarding new products and integrating new Muller plants into the corporate SAP landscape.
The implementation work centered on SAP ERP ECC 6.0 modules for production planning and logistics, notably PP, PI and LE, with configuration activities to integrate plant master data, material movement processes and inter-plant movement controls. Process mapping workshops were facilitated to capture end-to-end workflows, and formal gap analysis identified deviations between the existing Muller SAP template and the required site-specific setups, driving targeted configuration changes.
Integration engineering included the setup of IDOC messaging to control the movement of products and to coordinate transactional handoffs between plants, creating an automated message flow for inter-plant inventory and movement records. Operational coverage included production planning, materials management, logistics and plant operations, aligning SAP application events with site-level movement processes.
Governance combined facilitated workshops, documented gap remediation, configuration tasks and integration testing within the June to October 2016 timeframe, establishing process alignment between business stakeholders and the SAP configuration. The Principal SAP Consultant role delivered the configuration and IDOC integration required to bring new plants into the existing SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment and embed consistent ERP Financial and supply chain controls.

In 2010, Muller UK implemented Oracle Cloud HCM. The Core HR deployment centralized employee master data, organizational structures, and standard HR workflows for Muller UK, aligning HR recordkeeping with cloud-based Core HR capabilities.
Oracle Cloud HCM configuration covered workforce records, position and job frameworks, absence management, and HR case management, using role based security and configurable business objects to manage personnel lifecycle events, onboarding, and offboarding. The implementation leveraged Core HR functional modules to standardize HR processes and prepare HR data for reporting and operational use.
The rollout integrated Oracle Cloud HCM with existing HR and payroll systems, interfacing with ResourceLink, Snowdrop, KCS, SuccessFactors Time & Attendance, and Kronos WFC to preserve payroll and timekeeping continuity. Integration focus was on employee master synchronization and time data exchange, implemented as system to system interfaces to reduce duplicate data entry across HR and payroll functions.
Governance established centralized HR data stewardship within Muller's HR organization across the United Kingdom, with change controls for master data updates and reconciliation processes between Oracle Cloud HCM and connected payroll and time systems. The program emphasized standardized workflows and role based approvals to manage HR operations across departments.

| Thermo Fisher Scientific | Legacy | Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS | Laboratory Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Muller UK implemented Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS to centralize laboratory testing and quality control under the Laboratory Management category, supporting QC and production assurance across the dairy quality laboratory. Thermo Fisher Scientific provided implementation, validation, training, maintenance and support as part of the enterprise LIMS deployment.
The initial implementation instrumented workflows for incoming and outgoing milk products, storage silo tracking and separator operations, with many product lines scheduled for later incorporation. At the time of installation the team configured the Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS to capture sample records, workflow sequencing and electronic data necessary for lab release processes, and future phases were scoped to enable automatic release of finished product.
The project prioritized user enablement to move staff from paper based recording to the LIMS, beginning with basic PC training for all users, followed by an introduction to the LIMS and hands on training on the first validated workflow. A one month transition period was scheduled to test the LIMS and validate correct use, after which the system went live and operational adoption was confirmed.
Functionally the laboratory leveraged the SampleManager LIMS for standardized data capture, workflow orchestration and trend analysis, using the application to expand laboratory services and reporting capabilities. The LIMS was positioned for integration with corporate wide solutions and other business systems as requirements evolve, and the implementation helped Muller UK meet production demands while positioning the lab to address future challenges.
