| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics AX - Fixed Asset Module | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2018 | In 2017, Mutual Industries implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX - Fixed Asset Module as part of an Enterprise Asset Management deployment. The implementation centralized accounts, financial reporting and controls across the general ledger, fixed assets and inventory modules within the Dynamics AX environment. Microsoft Dynamics AX - Fixed Asset Module was configured to manage the fixed asset register, depreciation routines, capitalization workflows and accounting interfaces to the GL, reflecting standard Enterprise Asset Management accounting and asset lifecycle controls. Day to day functional responsibilities documented in the deployment included monitoring branch accounts teams, consolidation of monthly MIS reports, and review of GST transactions covering returns, payments and input tax credit reconciliation. The deployment supported coordination of internal audit requirements and preparation of financials for a de-merger process. Implementation governance centered on ERP change request and design documents, optimisation of standard processes, and direct interaction with developers to scope and deliver change requests. User training for finance and fixed asset management was conducted and a functional team was established to handle operations and change control. Operational scope covered finance, fixed asset accounting, inventory control and branch accounting across Mutual Industries operations in India, and the program included preparatory activities for a broader ERP upgradation. |
