In 2014, MWH, now part of Stantec deployed Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as an ERP Financial platform to centralize HR and payroll operations. The implementation targeted global HR systems support, integration and global work process development for three regions and a user population of over 7,000 employees, nearly 600 managers and 100 Human Resource professionals through a JD Edwards E1 HR/Payroll ERP.
The configuration emphasized Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne HR and payroll capabilities, using core HR data models and payroll rule configuration to manage employee records, payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration. Configuration work included localization settings per region, role based security for managers and HR staff, and standardization of master data definitions to support consistent transaction processing.
Integrations were delivered to link JD Edwards E1 with the organization s global HR systems and operational data sources to enable accurate payroll calculations and manager level reporting. Operational coverage included centralized systems support and integration development teams servicing three regions, with the application serving as the transactional HR and payroll engine across those geographies.
Governance concentrated on global work process development and change control for payroll rule updates, establishing process standards and a support model for approximately 100 Human Resource professionals and nearly 600 managers. The program institutionalized workflow and approval patterns inside Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to maintain consistent HR process execution across regions.
