Microsoft Legacy Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2009 2018
In 2009, NACE International implemented Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) to establish an enterprise Analytics and BI platform and to formalize data management and analytic technologies. The project was scoped to deliver ongoing delivery and operational support of high quality, cost effective Business Intelligence solutions aligned with organizational CRM data sources. The implementation configured SQL Server Integration Services for ETL and data consolidation, SQL Server Analysis Services for analytical models and OLAP cubes, and SQL Server Reporting Services for operational, parameterized, and scheduled reporting. Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) was set up to support report catalogs, subscription delivery, and cube processing workflows that feed analytical datasets. Integrations explicitly included Microsoft Dynamics CRM as a primary data source and additional BI tools as adjunct visualization and analysis layers. Database Administrator services were provided for all production and development SQL Server instances, covering routine maintenance, backup and recovery procedures, index and statistics management, and deployment promotion processes between development and production. Governance emphasized operational support and change control for report and data model releases, with handoff procedures between development and production DBAs and ongoing support processes to sustain BI availability. The Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) deployment centralized CRM-driven reporting and analytic workflows, positioning Analytics and BI capabilities to support membership and CRM reporting requirements.
