In 2018, National Rugby League implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was configured to eliminate manual spreadsheet workarounds, streamline invoice and expense lifecycle handling, and provide configurable ledgers and transactional controls typical of ERP Financial systems.
National Rugby League partnered with HSO for the implementation, which delivered configuration, process mapping and staged rollout support for finance teams. The project concentrated on enterprise financial operations within the league, aligning procurement controls, supplier invoice processing and expense approvals under the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations environment without introducing additional third party integrations in the public record.
Governance changes emphasized adoption of standard, automated P2P procedures and expense policies to reduce manual intervention and improve transactional accuracy.
