In 2015 Natura Bisse implemented Cegid Ekon ERP to centralize finance and supply chain operations, classified as ERP Financial. The Head of Operations and Analytics led the deployment to support the company’s internationalisation in the United Kingdom and to establish the Finance and Supply Chain department.
The Cegid Ekon ERP deployment focused on core financial management capabilities including revenue and expense forecasting, general accounting, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and annual budgeting. Supply chain and logistics capabilities were configured to support inventory and distribution processes, and the implementation included configuration of forecasting and resource allocation workflows to align finance and operations.
Operational coverage targeted the Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting and Logistics functions, with cross-functional data flows used to provide the marketing team with performance insight and to support contract and payment term negotiations. The implementation served as the finance point of contact for cost infrastructure and was used to prepare financial statements and to control operating expenses.
