In 2015, Nature's Sunshine Products implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as an ERP Financial platform. The implementation targeted Oracle Applications Release 12.1.3 with an Oracle 11g database, and development used SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Reports 10g and BI Publisher, SQL Loader, OAF and UNIX shell scripting for automation and data movement. Work coordination was run from Lehi, UT with cross-regional collaboration across South-East Asia, Europe and South America. Oracle E-Business Suite was configured across a broad set of functional modules including AP, AR, PO, SCM, WMS, WSH, INV, OM, WIP, BOM, Project Costing, Pricing, Manufacturing, SLA, EBTax, iStore, iProcurement, iExpenses and iPayments to support core financial, inventory and order workflows. Implementation workstreams covered Order to Cash and Procure to Pay business processes, custom Project Costing and Accounting logic, and WMS lot control automation. Development artifacts included custom PL/SQL packages, procedures, public API usage and OAF page customizations to extend front-end and back-end behavior. Integration work focused on 3PL and partner connectivity, with designed and developed 3PL interfaces for order processing, payments and shipping and order, payment and on-hand interfaces for a Stockist SBC system serving the Indonesia market. Payment interfaces from 3PL clients were routed into iPayments and drop-ship ASN loading was automated through an EDI gateway, while data extracts were built using ODI and SQL Loader for bulk conversions. Inbound and outbound public APIs were used to link Order Management, Pricing and Shipping to front-end SOA components and external systems. Governance and rollout artifacts included MD050 functional specifications, MD070 technical specifications, FNDLOAD migration files, creation of AOL objects, and version control using Microsoft Team Foundation Server. The program conducted unit testing and facilitated UAT for conversion and interface objects, and teams customized iProcurement requisition pages and extended iStore content publishing while converting iExpense workflows into invoices. Oracle E-Business Suite was positioned as the central ERP Financial system tying accounting, inventory and order orchestration together.
