In 2016 Nepean implemented Pronto XI HR and aligned the deployment with a broader upgrade of its Pronto Xi environment to strengthen Core HR capabilities. The implementation was executed as a complete reimplementation of Pronto Xi infrastructure beginning with a high-demand business unit after a rapid expansion from an acquisition, and rollout continued through discrete business units including the Building and Infrastructure lintel business Galintel and the Weldlok business.
Pronto XI HR was configured alongside Pronto Xi modules for payroll, manufacturing timesheets, inventory, pricing and mobile CRM to centralize employee data and payroll processing. The deployment delivered project-level financial controls by enabling automatic project by project P and L reporting, and it brought time sheet integration from the Manufacturing application directly into payroll to improve project costing and labor attribution.
Integrations explicitly implemented included timesheet transfers from the Manufacturing application into the Pronto Xi Payroll and HR application, and Pronto Xi Mobile CRM integration that synchronizes field sales orders, pricing and inventory back into the core ERP. Nepean also consolidated disparate pricing, materials and inventory records into a single Pronto Xi instance to provide accurate SKU-level availability and lead time information to sales and customer service teams.
Operational governance was restructured to move teams off hundreds of error prone spreadsheets onto a unified Pronto Xi platform, with role based dashboards and alerts routed to the right stakeholders for order and financial oversight. Process changes included reduced physical stocktake frequency in some sites due to improved inventory accuracy, and the establishment of consolidated financial reporting workflows that deliver consolidated results from acquisitions from day one.
The implementation used a hybrid cloud infrastructure with Pronto Cloud managing servers and monitoring to improve uptime and operational assurance. Pronto XI HR and the broader Pronto Xi upgrade delivered measurable productivity and customer satisfaction gains, improved BI and real time insight for budget and plan adherence, faster and more accurate quoting by field sales, and lower stock variance as reported by Nepean leadership.
