In 2015, Netsource implemented Dassault Enovia PLM in a Product Lifecycle Management engagement to advance its Enovia platform. The first phase of the effort focused on an Enovia 2013x to Enovia 2015x migration and was led by a combined internal and external team using agile methodology. The program was organized into three parallel workstreams addressing data migration, configuration and testing.
Configuration work concentrated on core Product Lifecycle Management functional areas including lifecycle and change management, bill of materials governance, and document management, consistent with standard Enovia capabilities. The team instrumented role based access controls and automated approval workflows to align engineering and product data processes. User Acceptance Test was completed for the first phase, validating configurations and workflow automations.
Operational coverage included engineering and product data management functions and extended to external stakeholders involved in validation activities. Integration planning emphasized data feeds and authoring touchpoints typical for PLM deployments, preserving the migration focus on object model compatibility and revision history retention. The migration approach preserved version lineage while preparing the environment for subsequent phases.
Governance relied on agile sprints, cross functional stand ups and a staged UAT gate to control scope and quality. The project completed through User Acceptance Test and remained under budget at contract end, closing the first phase and positioning the organization for follow on rollout phases.
