NCC Technographics
Discover the latest software purchases and digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by NCC and its business and technology executives. Each quarter our research team identifies on-prem and cloud applications that are being used by the 11800 NCC employees from the public (Press Releases, Customer References, Testimonials, Case Studies and Success Stories) and proprietary sources.
During our research, we have identified that NCC has purchased the following applications: IFS Cloud ERP for ERP Financial in 2023, Benify Benefits for Benefits Administration in 2021, IFS Cloud EAM for Enterprise Asset Management in 2007 and the related IT decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Our database provides customer insight and contextual information on which enterprise applications and software systems NCC is running and its propensity to invest more and deepen its relationship with IFS , Microsoft , Benify or identify new suppliers as part of their overall Digital and IT transformation projects to stay competitive, fend off threats from disruptive forces, or comply with internal mandates to improve overall enterprise efficiency.
We have been analyzing NCC revenues, which have grown to $6.86 billion in 2024, plus its IT budget and roadmap, cloud software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions for NCC intention to invest in emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database or in cloud-based ERP, HCM, CRM, EPM, Procurement or Treasury applications.

In 2023, NCC implemented IFS Cloud ERP across its Nordic operations to centralize finance and project control processes and improve operational visibility. The deployment, announced May 23, 2023, replaces NCC’s Infor Lawson ERP and its IBM Maximo EAM installation and was delivered with support from IFS partner Cillco.
The IFS Cloud ERP implementation focused on core contract management, finance and project accounting capabilities to align central contract, finance and project accounting processes. The program also incorporated IFS Cloud EAM to handle the construction industry’s complex asset demand and to support maintenance workflows, extending asset lifespans and improving sustainability tracking. The deployment is positioned as an ERP Financial solution, with IFS Cloud ERP providing end to end visibility across project and financial workflows.
Operational coverage spans all four Nordic countries with a phased rollout, and an early milestone occurred in April when NCC’s subsidiary NCC Industry went live on IFS Cloud EAM for 535 users. The single cloud solution unifies project accounting, operational asset maintenance and core financial ledgers to reduce fragmentation between project control and finance. The implementation architecture centers on the IFS Cloud platform to provide a unified data model for projects, contracts, assets and accounting.
Governance and process change were explicit objectives, NCC requiring tighter alignment between contract, finance and project accounting to become more data informed. NCC articulated the need to better build, manage and measure sustainability and ESG investments, and IFS Cloud ERP and IFS Cloud EAM were selected to support those tracking and reporting needs. The stated outcomes include improved operational efficiency, streamlined accounting processes, improved productivity and reduced costs for the initial EAM deployment, and enhanced visibility to support NCC’s ongoing digital transformation.

| IFS | IBM Maximo | IFS Cloud EAM | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | Cillco | 2007 | 2007 |
In 2007 NCC implemented IFS Cloud EAM, replacing IBM Maximo. The IFS Cloud EAM deployment at NCC was delivered with Cillco as the SI/VAR and focused on Enterprise Asset Management capabilities across its construction and real estate operations.
The IFS Cloud EAM implementation emphasized core asset management functions typical for Enterprise Asset Management, including a centralized asset register, maintenance planning and scheduling, work order management, and spare parts control. Configuration work included automated maintenance scheduling and standardized work order workflows to support site and project maintenance in construction environments.
Integrations were a critical element of the rollout, notably with NCCs ERP and an external payments middleware. NCC required a partner to convert payment file formats when the ERP could not produce required formats, and Nomentia was used as a payment hub to convert supplier payout files to ISO 20022 XML. This architecture separated bank interface logic from internal systems, allowing NCC to maintain its own payment processes while adapting to the incoming P27 Nordic Payments change.
Governance and operational impact centered on treasury and payments operations. Nina Brun, Head of Treasury Operations at NCC, confirmed that partnering for automatic file conversions was a prerequisite to maintain outgoing payments, and that using a middleware reduced the need to adapt to different banks interfaces. The integration work contributed to a cleaner IT map and clearer system integration across finance and operational systems.
Explicit outcomes reported by NCC include having supplier payout files delivered in ISO format via the payment hub, increased confidence in preparedness for P27, the ability to make changes more easily through the middleware, and a clearer systems landscape as a result of the file conversion and centralized bank interfacing approach.
