The deployment focused on Symmetry Tax Engine functional capabilities for tax verification, automated tax calculation and reporting, and audit-ready transaction logging. Implementation activities included documenting business and functional requirements, translating requirements into activity diagrams, use case diagrams and flow charts using Microsoft Visio, and configuring application changes in the network application. Reporting and analytics were built using extracted SQL data and visualized in Tableau and Power BI, and denormalized reporting databases were created via SQL Server Jobs to improve query performance and maintain data history. Integrations were explicitly orchestrated with third party services, including RealEC for title, ClosingCorp for fees, Work Number for income verification and SmartyStreets for address verification, with Symmetry used for tax verification. These integrations were embedded into the loan closing and underwriting workflow to provide automated verification checkpoints and feed downstream reporting. Operational coverage included operations, sales, quality assurance and executive reporting functions, with both onsite user acceptance testing and a managed offshore QA team for ongoing testing and validation. Governance and delivery controls comprised a liaison model between business stakeholders and development, formalized requirements artifacts, onsite UAT and version control using TFS for reports, stored procedures, indexes, tables, views, triggers and SQL Server Job scripts. Quality assurance tooling included Excel Macros with Visual Basic that established database connections for audit workflows, and an executive dashboard was developed to surface audit findings, customer communication touchpoints and trend forecasts that highlight potential risks. The program explicitly achieved an overall efficiency improvement of 5 days per loan cycle, and executive dashboards were used to perform audits, improve customer communications and forecast trends. NewDay USA Symmetry Tax Engine Payroll Tax Compliance workstreams therefore combined automated tax verification, integrated third party services and centralized reporting to reduce manual processing in loan operations.

According to internal notes, the implementation helped develop a new servicing department which contributed to increased company efficiency and improved client retention through consolidated Loan Management operations.
