Configuration included chart of accounts design and automation of period close workflows to align with corporate accounting policies.
Operational coverage targeted corporate finance, accounting, treasury and procurement teams, consolidating ledger and subledger processing and standardizing accounting rules. Workstreams addressed subledger reconciliation, intercompany accounting and financial reporting templates to support month end close and external reporting.
Program governance was led by a senior IT project manager within New Jersey Resources, using staged deployment activities such as configuration, data migration, system testing, user acceptance testing, cutover planning and role based training.
