Tribe Payments Legacy Tribe Payments POS Point Of Sale ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Nickel Bank, a BNP Paribas Company implemented Tribe Payments POS, a Point Of Sale application for partner facing and internal checkout workflows. The rollout attached Tribe Payments POS to the organization’s CRM responsibilities and targeted digitizing the experience for 9,500 B2B partners as well as the internal teams that support those POS locations in France. The deployment centered on two functional areas, a point of sale service layer and CRM driven partner management. Tribe Payments POS was configured alongside a Salesforce CRM instance to capture partner profiles, onboarding status, and sales interactions, while product management maintained a prioritized product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria to govern feature delivery. Integrations and collaboration were explicit to the program, with the product manager working closely with internal users, sponsors, developers, a data analyst, a designer, and a lead product manager to refine requirements. The integration with Salesforce CRM served as the system of record for partner lifecycle and salesforce activities, and the implementation emphasized cross discipline coordination between product, data, design, and development teams. Governance and delivery followed an Agile cadence, the product manager owning vision and strategy, defining an OKR informed roadmap, driving sprints, animating SCRUM ceremonies, and performing tests to ensure quality of deliverables. Continuous optimization processes were instituted through shared indicators feeding the OKR process, and delivery workflows were structured around iterative backlog refinement and sprint level value delivery.
