| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011 Nidera Group implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to manage core finance operations and reporting. The deployment focused on ERP Financial capabilities to centralize treasury accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany reconciliation across the corporate finance organization of the Netherlands-based consumer packaged goods company with approximately 4,000 employees.
SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to support Treasury Accounting for accounting processing of treasury related instruments, Accounts Payable for invoice handling processes, and Accounts Receivable for open item management of internal and external balances. The implementation also included a structured InterCompany module to manage the monthly InterCompany Reconciliation process and bank and loan reconciliation and analysis activities that feed month end reporting.
Operational coverage centered on finance, treasury, and intercompany accounting functions, with functional workflows aligned to general ledger posting, invoice capture and settlement, open item clearing, and month end reconciliation and reporting. Reconciliation and analysis workflows were instrumented within SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to support period close activities and cross‑functional coordination between treasury and accounts teams.
Governance employed a key-user role embedded in the SAP implementation project to own configuration, user acceptance, and process handover for Treasury Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and InterCompany processes. That key-user role managed rollout activities for accounting process ownership and the formalization of month end bank and loan reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation procedures.
