SAP Legacy SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Compensation Management HCM n/a 2015 2016
In 2015, Noor Bank formerly Noor Islamic Bank implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as part of a broader SAP SuccessFactors deployment. The initiative covered a multi-module scope including Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding, LMS, Compensation, and Career and Succession planning. Noor Bank deployed SAP SuccessFactors Compensation to standardize Compensation Management processes within HR and talent programs. The implementation configured Employee Central as the authoritative HR master data source while Employee Central Payroll handled embedded payroll calculations and pay element mapping. Recruitment and Onboarding modules were implemented to capture hiring and early service milestones, and the LMS was configured to feed learning records into talent profiles used by Career and Succession planning. The SAP SuccessFactors Compensation module was configured for structured pay components, merit and bonus planning workflows, and eligibility rules aligned to the bank's grade and job structures. Operational workflows linked employee master records across Employee Central, Compensation, and Payroll to ensure consistent compensation inputs and alignment with payroll processing. Integration points were implemented as internal SuccessFactors data flows between modules, supporting HR, talent acquisition, learning, compensation, and payroll functions. The deployment concentrated on consolidating compensation data and talent signals within the SAP SuccessFactors suite to support Compensation Management activities. Governance was established through role based permissions and defined approval chains in SuccessFactors, coupled with configuration controls for pay components and eligibility rules. Change control and testing processes were organized to validate synchronization between Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, and the Compensation module before production use. Training and user adoption workstreams aligned HR operations and compensation governance to the new SAP SuccessFactors Compensation configuration.
