Configuration focused on enterprise asset management and maintenance planning workflows, core financial processes and procurement lifecycle management, aligning operational maintenance execution with finance and purchasing transactions. IFS Cloud ERP was used to centralize transaction processing and maintenance records in a single data model to reduce fragmentation between shop floor maintenance and back office finance operations.
Architecturally the deployment uses IFS Cloud as a centrally managed cloud instance, operated by the vendor and channel partner, to improve system uptime and security posture cited by the customer. The rollout targeted headquarters and mill operational systems rather than introducing named third party integrations, keeping the initial scope on native IFS Cloud module interoperation across maintenance, procurement and financial ledgers. Novacura executed the implementation tasks with coordination between IT and mill operations to align cutover windows and user provisioning for the 400 named users.
