In 2019, Nortech Systems implemented Epicor BPM as its Business Process Management solution to automate manufacturing operations workflows in its aerospace, defense and medical electro mechanical production environment. The rollout emphasized operations focused automation to reduce manual processing and standardize exception handling across production and supporting operational functions. Nortech configured Epicor BPM modules to automate business processes, build data mapping routines, and instrument business intelligence reporting enhancements. Development work included translating business requirements into technical specifications, creating Epicor BAQ queries, Advanced Dashboards, and custom SSRS reports, plus SQL driven analysis of large data batches to produce shareable readable outputs. The implementation encompassed development, testing and deployment of BPM procedures and custom inquiries. Operational governance combined system development with end user troubleshooting and support, establishing application level controls using Epicor built in tools and applications. The deployment was owned by internal Epicor system analysts and system developers who acted as solutionists to validate process workflows and reduce the impact of errors, while enabling more consumable reporting for operations stakeholders.
