In 2023, Novo Nordisk US implemented OpenText Vendor Invoice Management. The deployment targeted AP Automation to centralize inbound invoice processing and approval workflows for the US finance organization.
The implementation included component selection, configuration, and design planning for OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, with configuration guidance on invoice capture, validation, matching, and workflow routing aligned to accounts payable operations. The team provided tailored process flow recommendations and configured integration points to support SAP posting behavior, while also addressing FI master data considerations required for automated invoice processing.

The delivery included configuration of SAP S/4HANA FI modules GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, and Fixed Assets, with setup of document splitting and internal orders, plus tax integration design with Vertex covering tax procedures, conditions, and account determination. Payment and receivable automation was addressed through lockbox integration using BAI2 and IDOC formats to feed payment and clearing information into SAP.
Governance and rollout were consultant led, with a Senior SAP FICO OpenText VIM Consultant leading the full scale deployment from January 2023 to present, providing design planning and governance recommendations for exception handling and approval routing across AP and procurement. The implementation emphasizes operational alignment between OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, SAP financial modules, and tax and payment interfaces to support standardized AP Automation workflows.

| Avature | Legacy | Avature CRM | Candidate Relationship Management | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Novo Nordisk US implemented Avature CRM as part of a Candidate Relationship Management strategy to support Talent Attraction and Global Talent Acquisition functions. The deployment concentrated on Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs Division and R&D recruiting, supporting mid to executive level and field roles across the United States, including coordination with the Seattle Research Center. Talent Attraction teams, led by the U.S. Talent Attraction Team Lead for CMR and R&D, used Avature CRM daily alongside SuccessFactors. This positioned Avature CRM as the principal candidate engagement layer for proactive sourcing and relationship management.
Configuration work emphasized candidate pools, talent pipeline orchestration, campaign-driven candidate outreach, and automated engagement workflows consistent with Candidate Relationship Management capabilities. Avature CRM was configured to manage sourcing workflows, segment candidate profiles by functional area, and coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication for Recruiting Leads and Hiring Managers. The application name Avature CRM is central to managing proactive candidate identification, segmentation, and ongoing engagement for Talent Attraction.
Avature CRM operated in tandem with SuccessFactors as the applicant tracking system, with coordinated operational workflows between sourcing activity in Avature CRM and selection and offer processes tracked in SuccessFactors. Daily utilization of both systems by Talent Attraction and Recruiting teams reflects integrated practices around candidate status handoffs and shared sourcing intelligence among HR Business Partners and recruiting leads. This alignment linked Candidate Relationship Management capabilities in Avature CRM with downstream ATS processing in SuccessFactors.
Governance and process control were exercised through Talent Attraction leadership and Recruiting Leads who set sourcing strategies, configured candidate segmentation, and standardized outreach practices within Avature CRM. Delivery Lead responsibilities covered field medical affairs, clinical development and research, and clinical trial operations, with guidance provided to Hiring Managers on sourcing timelines and approaches. Training, procedural governance, and coordinated recruitment workflows were embedded in hiring operations to sustain Candidate Relationship Management practices.
