Integrations and operational touchpoints were explicit, using Compliance Calibrator, the Virsa GRC tool, for segregation of duties identification and mitigations, and entering Active Directory security group requests into Omada Identity Management OIM. The implementation handled Active Directory account creation, termination and extension for vendor and WiFi accounts and tied AD group changes into SAP access provisioning. Project work documented in the environment included an SAP user clean-up to remove parent company users, an SAP migration from IBM to Freudenberg IT FIT, and the SAP upgrade from 4.6C to ECC.
Governance and audit controls were embedded into operations, with monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual SOX audits for all SAP security related controls and an annual SAP license audit with consequent cleanup.
