Acumatica Legacy Acumatica Cloud ERP- Payroll Payroll HCM n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP- Payroll and configured the application to support centralized payroll processing and audit documentation intake for agency financial operations, Apps Category "". The deployment emphasized the Acumatica Cloud ERP- Payroll application as the core payroll and cash-handling ledger for client allowance and agency payroll workflows, with the full application name restated to ensure clarity around the system in use. Configuration work focused on payroll processing, bank reconciliation workflows, and client cash account controls, including petty cash and food stamp account reconciliations from historical records. The team configured automated receipt capture and reconciliation queues in Acumatica Cloud ERP- Payroll, and developed procedures to handle deposit transfers between three separate bank accounts during a parallel client cash system transition. The implementation integrated operational interactions with internal oversight and field entities, the Revenue Support Field Office, OPWDD Internal Control Division, NYCLI business offices, and investigative and law enforcement entities to support auditability and compliance. Operational coverage included accounting and internal control functions across New York field offices, and reconciliations of Metro owned bank accounts were coordinated through the centralized Acumatica Cloud ERP- Payroll intake and documentation processes. Governance changes accompanied the technical rollout, with new cash-handling policies and training procedures written and implemented, participation on Personal Allowance and Financial Theft and Loss Lean teams, and a supervised temporary audit team to execute audits of certified group homes. The program also produced formal corrective action planning inputs by reviewing deficiency statements of deficiencies, and the transition team worked directly with centralized Acumatica Cloud ERP- Payroll processes to ensure ongoing receipt of audit documentation and adherence to OPWDD financial controls.
