In 2022, Obsidian HR automated its quote to cash and contract creation using Formstack Documents, deploying a Document Management solution to address sales contract assembly. The engagement targeted Sales/CRM operations across the United States and was scoped to streamline document generation and approval workflows for the professional services business.
Formstack Documents was configured with reusable document templates, field mapping from CRM records, and automated document assembly to remove manual composition tasks. The implementation linked form-based data capture to template logic, enabling conditional content and automated delivery of completed documents to downstream processes.
The solution integrated with Forms and Salesforce to populate contract fields and to persist document status inside the CRM, improving sales visibility and forecasting through reliable reporting. Signature status tracking was implemented as part of the document lifecycle, providing sales teams with an auditable status field for deal progression.
The project was delivered by Aptitude 8 and included rollout across sales teams, template governance, and reporting configuration to support consistent contract production. Outcomes documented include faster document creation, reduced manual contract assembly, reliable reporting, and tracked signature status, all delivered through Formstack Documents in the Document Management category.
