The implementation included role-based configuration for clinicians and front office staff, build out of specialty-specific templates for rheumatology, and integration of billing and coding workflows within the Electronic Health Record environment. The Allscripts TouchWorks EHR environment was operationally integrated with Orchard Harvest LIS for laboratory result flows and with Clear Canvas and eFilm for imaging access and review, enabling end-to-end clinical result retrieval and image viewing within clinical workflows. These integrations established bi-directional lab and imaging interfaces and tied laboratory and radiology outputs into encounter documentation and order reconciliation. Governance and ongoing support were staffed through dedicated EHR Specialist and System Support roles, responsible for configuration changes, user support, and clinical workflow training. Operational oversight centralized clinical and billing governance to manage templates, order sets, and interface stability while providing tiered support for clinicians and administrative users.
