This placed Sage Business Cloud X3 at the intersection of payroll, human resources, and financial posting for the global payroll footprint supporting those countries.
The implementation focused on configuring the Sage Business Cloud X3 People module to receive and process externally generated payroll entries, and to maintain localized payroll records for Ivory Coast and Cameroon. Functional configuration work included payroll journal mapping to financial ledgers, employee master data synchronization within Sage X3 People, and country-specific payroll data capture consistent with ERP Financial and HR payroll workflows. Automation of periodic payroll entry imports and standardized posting templates were applied to ensure consistent financial posting within the ERP Financial system.
Operationally the project established a centralized payroll entry process routed to Chennai, with integration points between the Chennai payroll processing center and Sage Business Cloud X3 People for Ivory Coast and Cameroon payrolls. The scope covered HR and finance workflows across those countries and required coordination between the centralized processing team and local HR/payroll administrators. Project management activities focused on aligning payroll posting workflows, data validation rules, and reconciliation processes within Sage Business Cloud X3 People to ensure consistent ledger posting across the ERP Financial environment.
