Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Fabric Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2024 2024 In 2024 One NZ implemented Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Analytics to power customer service dashboards and real-time contact-centre insights across New Zealand, India, and the Philippines. The deployment used Microsoft Fabric within the Analytics and BI category to deliver dashboards updated every 10 seconds and to provide near real-time operational visibility for telecom customer-service operations. The implementation centered on Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Analytics, using Fabric event streams to ingest contact-centre events, KQL for streaming query and transformation logic, and Power BI for visualization and dashboarding. Configuration emphasized streaming ingestion, real-time query pipelines and Power BI report datasets refreshed on a ten second cadence, aligning Fabric RTA capabilities with contact-centre monitoring workflows. Operational coverage included contact-centre and customer-service functions across the three countries, instrumenting agent routing telemetry, call and interaction events, and queue metrics into Fabric event streams. The solution provided a single streaming analytics plane to unify event processing and reporting for service operations, enabling contact-centre supervisors and operational analysts to access consistent, sub-minute views of traffic and agent performance. Rollout focused on telecom customer-service teams with phased adoption of Fabric Real-Time Analytics dashboards and runtime KQL playbooks for alerting and queue management. As implemented the platform delivered dashboards updated every 10 seconds and reduced average answer time from 45 seconds to 27 seconds, demonstrating operational impact on contact-centre responsiveness.
