In 2017 Oneal deployed Infor CloudSuite Business (SMB) to modernize financials and operational reporting across its U.S. manufacturing services business, using the Infor CloudSuite Business financials functionality as the core ERP Financial platform. The engagement was positioned to centralize transactional finance and inventory reporting, aligning accounting and operations data for more timely order-to-cash visibility.
The implementation configured CloudSuite Business financials to support core general ledger activity, accounts payable and receivable workflows, cash management and inventory valuation processes, with an emphasis on integrating inventory and operations data into financial reporting. Order-to-cash process orchestration and operational reporting capabilities were focal points, reflecting typical ERP Financial operational modules and workflows used to close the loop between sales orders, fulfillment and revenue recognition.
Deployment leveraged the Infor CloudSuite Business cloud delivery model to provide a unified application stack for finance and operations across the company site footprint, concentrating operational coverage on finance, inventory control, warehouse operations and order management. Integrations centered on connecting inventory and operations data to financial ledgers and reporting, creating a single source for operational reporting across the manufacturing services business in the United States.
Governance and process adjustments accompanied the rollout, with finance and operations alignment to standardize reporting definitions and streamline order-to-cash handoffs between departments. The project scope and configuration emphasized improved reporting and order-to-cash outcomes as the primary operational objectives stated in customer materials.
