Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Ooredoo Qatar implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its core ERP Financial platform. The Oracle Cloud ERP deployment was positioned to centralize finance operations and to provide a single source of record for corporate financial management across the organization. The implementation centered on standard ERP Financial capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets and financial close automation, with configuration of a unified chart of accounts, controls and automated close workflows. The Oracle Cloud ERP application was deployed in a cloud SaaS architecture and configured to support transaction processing, statutory reporting and consolidated financial management for the company. Change management and culture workstreams were embedded in the rollout, including the development of vision and the design of culture and engagement journeys, company-wide change management plans and communications of culture and engagement objectives. Execution of employee engagement, pulse barometer and Best Place to Work surveys was part of the program, with survey results communicated to key stakeholders and used to support development of functional action plans and their follow-up, along with procedures for results tracking and success measurement. A CM strategy specifically addressed the Digital Transformation, Oracle Cloud and OHI initiatives and was applied to Ooredoo Qatar and Ooredoo Group projects and initiatives. Operational governance paired finance process redesign with adoption activities, instituting stakeholder communication channels, functional action plan ownership and periodic measurement of engagement outcomes. The relationship between Ooredoo Qatar, Oracle Cloud ERP, ERP Financial and the finance and HR-related business functions was emphasized through coordinated program governance and cross-functional participation.

Cazar Legacy Cazar Engage Candidate Relationship Management HCM n/a 2009 2009
In 2009 Ooredoo (formerly Qtel) adopted Cazar's Sniperhire platform and implemented Cazar Engage as its Candidate Relationship Management solution. Cazar Engage was deployed to centralize recruitment processes and support global hiring across MENA and Southeast Asia for HR and regional recruitment teams. The rollout targeted recruiting teams across MENA and Southeast Asia as Ooredoo expanded globally in 2009, addressing decentralized hiring that had fragmented sourcing and candidate communication. The program focused on centralising vacancy posting, harmonizing screening workflows, and improving candidate experience across markets. Module usage is inferred to include Cazar Engage capabilities for candidate engagement and multi-market career-site functionality, enabling managed talent pools, targeted outreach, and consistent career-site branding and localization. Typical Candidate Relationship Management features such as automated candidate communications, pipeline segmentation, and job publishing workflows were likely configured to orchestrate cross-market recruitment activity. Governance and operational change centered on standardizing hiring policies and aligning HR and regional recruitment teams around common sourcing and screening processes during the global Sniperhire rollout. The case study emphasizes centralized recruitment control and an improved candidate experience as primary objectives of the Cazar Engage deployment.

Ericsson Legacy Ericsson OSS/BSS OSS/BSS ERP Services and Operations n/a 2022 2022
In 2022, Ooredoo Qatar implemented Ericsson OSS/BSS to underpin a high-capacity connectivity program tied to the countrywide sporting mega-event, deploying OSS/BSS capabilities to support surge traffic and commercial monetization ahead of the event. The deployment was executed as part of a broader Ericsson network modernization program that combined radio layer upgrades with business support systems to maintain service continuity for 1.4 million additional visitors and the resident population. The Ericsson OSS/BSS implementation included Ericsson Digital Monetization Platform, Charging, Billing, Catalog Manager, Order Care, Dynamic Activation, and Mediation, delivering integrated billing, charging, product catalog, order management, and mediation workflows. These modules were configured to enable dynamic service activation and real-time charging for a mix of consumer and enterprise use cases, supporting catalog-driven offers and order orchestration across digital and field channels. Operational integration connected the OSS/BSS stack with Ericsson-managed network elements and advanced radio solutions, using mediation to aggregate network events and usage for billing and monetization. The technical footprint supported indoor and outdoor coverage, stadium Massive MIMO and mmWave capacity increases, Elastic RAN coordination, network slicing for prioritized links, and multi-operator indoor small cells, delivering cohesive operational coverage nationwide including event venues and broadcaster locations. Governance and rollout were executed prior to the event, with Ooredoo selecting Ericsson as BSS transformation partner to align business operations with the network upgrades, and to enable monetization programs and cost-efficient management and deployment. The combined network and OSS/BSS program supported measured outcomes during the event, including peak speeds of 3.7 Gbps on commercial handsets, a record 45.1 TB traffic volume during peak hours, approximately 2,800 TB average daily nationwide data usage, and 11.4 million total voice calls with a 99.95 percent success rate.
