| Legacy | Google Cloud Secret Manager | Identity and Access Management (IAM) | CyberSecurity | Numed Healthcare | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022, Orienta Mexico implemented Google Cloud Secret Manager as part of Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls for its cloud platforms. The deployment accompanied modernization of the contact center and employee wellbeing platforms on Google Cloud, and the Mexico Latin America deployment supported scaling to over 240,000 personalized sessions and service to 350+ client organizations while aligning with ISO 27001 and local compliance requirements.
Google Cloud Secret Manager was used alongside IAM and Cloud KMS to centralize protection of sensitive records and service credentials for multichannel services. Configuration emphasized secret storage with versioning, IAM policy based access controls, and integration with KMS for encryption at rest and key management. These configurations enabled centralized secret lifecycle management and audit trail capture consistent with Identity and Access Management (IAM) operational patterns.
Integration points included the contact center platform and employee wellbeing services, where Secret Manager handled API keys, service accounts, and connection strings used across channels. The implementation covered operational scope in Mexico and broader Latin America, delivering secrets for multichannel session orchestration across 350+ client organizations. The rollout was executed with implementation partner Numed Healthcare.
Governance changes focused on role based access controls, centralized secret lifecycle policies, and audit logging to meet ISO 27001 and local regulatory requirements. Operational workflows were adjusted to centralize credential provisioning, enforce policy driven access, and require secret rotation and versioning as part of service onboarding and operations. These controls reinforced Identity and Access Management (IAM) posture while protecting sensitive records used in personalized session delivery.
