In 2013, Orthofeet implemented Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) to serve core accounting and transactional processing as an ERP Financial system. The deployment was executed on site and configured to receive transaction feeds from multiple external commerce servers, explicitly covering wholesale and retail transaction streams.
The Sage Business Cloud X3 implementation was configured to process transactions in native x3 format, with financial processing workflows aligned to ERP Financial functionality such as general ledger posting, accounts receivable capture, and order-to-cash orchestration. Data mapping, validation, and batch import routines were established to normalize incoming records prior to ledger posting, and API-driven ingestion was used to automate transaction processing into the X3 schema.
Orthofeet built an on-site integration API to import transactions from multiple foreign servers into internal servers where Sage Business Cloud X3 consumed them, enabling consolidated processing across wholesale and retail channels. Parallel work modernized the wholesale web presence with a full HTML5 and CSS3 responsive redesign using jQuery libraries, CSS3 animations, modal dialogs, and AJAX requests backed by an in-house custom API for ajax handling, while retail site modernization remained in progress.
Operational coverage included finance, wholesale order management, and retail commerce operations, with the integration centralizing transaction flows to the Sage Business Cloud X3 ERP Financial instance for processing. Rollout emphasized on-site API-led ingestion and incremental front-end modernization to align ecommerce transaction sources with the ERP processing pipelines.
