In 2015, PDS Health deployed Infor Lawson as its ERP Financial system. The implementation included Lawson S3 version 10 and M3 version 13.2 environments, configured both on-premises and in Amazon Web Services to support core finance, payroll, and HR processing.
The Infor Lawson deployment covered a wide set of financial and HCM modules, including General Ledger, Cost Allocations, Budgeting, Report Writer, Accounts Payable, Invoice Matching, Cash Ledger, Employee Advance and Expense, Project and Activity Management, Asset Management, Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Recruitment, Time and Attendance, Purchasing, and Materials Management. Lawson Business Intelligence was used for LBI dashboards, Crystal reporting, Smart Notification, and Scorecard capabilities, while Infor Process Automation and Infor Security were implemented to orchestrate process flows and enforce role based controls. The team configured pay rule functionality, designed compensation scenarios, and developed transactional and ad hoc reporting for finance and HR analysis.
Integrations were implemented using Kronos connect to create interfaces for Employee Demographics, Census, Accruals, Labour levels, and Time Detail, interfacing directly with Lawson HR and Payroll and with Epic clinical systems. A Workday database migration was performed into Lawson payroll and recruiting, and the environment supported remote DB2 databases and Oracle RDBMS for transactional and reporting stores. Data mapping and integration work leveraged Lawson Design Studio, IBM WTE data mapping tools, SQL, JavaScript, and Perl scripting to ensure integrity between systems.
Governance and operationalization included a formal upgrade strategy from Lawson version 9 to version 10, S3 and LTM data comparison projects to monitor data quality, and the creation of security profiles, roles, and new security rules for Lawson users. The program produced classroom style and one on one training, step by step documentation, statements of work, scope outlines, and risk plans, and introduced best practices to remove manual spreadsheet based processes. A custom reporting tool and process automation flows were developed to standardize report generation and to reduce manual intervention in finance and HR workflows.
Ongoing operational coverage encompassed support across HR, Finance, Payroll, Purchasing, and Materials Management, maintaining RDMS Oracle configurations and monitoring data integrity. The project centralized Lawson LBI Crystal Report dashboards, managing hundreds of reports for multiple departments, and provided continued business analyst support for transaction processing, reporting, and policy maintenance in time and attendance, payroll, and benefits administration under the Infor Lawson ERP Financial implementation.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Benefits | Benefits Administration | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, PDS Health implemented Workday Benefits as part of a broader Workday deployment covering Human Capital Management, Benefits, Advanced Compensation and Payroll, aligning the application to the Benefits Administration needs of more than 10,000 employees across 700+ dental office locations. Workday Benefits was configured to handle enrollment, eligibility, notifications, organization hierarchy and reporting within the broader Workday suite, with the implementation explicitly framed to maintain data integrity across distributed sites.
Configuration work focused on Benefits Administration functional workflows, role based security and system level notifications, with the team operating as both project manager and technical Workday SME. Workday Security and access models were administered to enforce proper user entitlements, and the program included tier 2 and tier 3 operational support for complex system and data issues, reporting requests and change management within benefits processes.
The implementation integrated Workday with identity and payroll ecosystems, specifically OKTA for access management and ADP for payroll interactions, through collaboration between HR system owners and IT Operations. Operational coverage extended across HR Business Partners, Shared Services, Total Rewards and Legal, and the rollout included cross‑border coordination with the China office to educate local teams on Workday functionality and meet regional requirements.
Governance and process restructuring emphasized centralized benefits configuration, role driven access controls and ongoing training to embed new workflows into HR and payroll operations. The project narrative documents explicit outcomes of streamlined HR and Payroll operations and optimized efficiency while ensuring data integrity for all clinical and administrative locations, supported by sustained operational support and change control.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2015 | 2018 |
In 2015, PDS Health implemented Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) to centralize reporting across clinical operations and financial reporting. The deployment established Microsoft BI as the primary Analytics and BI platform to consolidate and standardize reporting workflows.
The implementation used SQL Server as a multi-tenant reporting database, with SSIS orchestrating extract, transform and load processes to consolidate data from more than 500 Sybase databases into a single SQL Server instance. SSAS was used to build a financial analytic cube, and Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) delivered drill-through and parameterized reports across project modules using a PDS report template.
Operational coverage included metric and performance reporting for multiple health centers, with Desktop Tableau used alongside Microsoft BI to create center-level performance visualizations. Aggregating 500 plus Sybase sources into the SQL Server multi-tenant database removed the need for clients to install Sybase drivers, manage 500 plus DSNs, and implement source switching between individual Sybase instances, improving data availability for reporting consumers.
Governance centered on a standardized PDS SSRS template, parameterization and drill-through patterns to enforce consistent presentation and drill paths, while the SSAS cube provided a single semantic layer for financial reports that were surfaced through SSRS. The architecture combined SSIS ETL, a multi-tenant SQL Server reporting store, SSAS analytical models and SSRS operational reports to deliver Analytics and BI support for finance and operational reporting.
