| Benevity | Legacy | Benevity Spark | Employee Engagement | HCM | n/a | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022 PagerDuty implemented Benevity Spark in an Employee Engagement program focused on year end corporate social responsibility and employee giving. PagerDuty used Benevity’s Donate and Volunteer solutions and leveraged Benevity Spark insights to seed every employee with a GivingTuesday donation credit as part of an HR and People driven CSR initiative in the United States.
The deployment configured donation credit seeding and volunteer registration workflows through the Donate and Volunteer solutions, with Benevity Spark providing participation and redemption analytics. Functional capabilities implemented included employee credit provisioning, redemption tracking, and nonprofit selection reporting, aligned with standard Employee Engagement platform workflows.
Operational scope covered the entire employee population at PagerDuty, executed as a centralized People team rollout to drive year end participation and volunteer activity. Governance was managed through HR driven program controls and ongoing insight consumption from Benevity Spark to inform follow on program decisions.
Program outcomes reported by the vendor included a 65% redemption rate within 14 days, $58,262 donated to more than 600 nonprofits, and 95% of employees having donated or volunteered during the period. These results prompted PagerDuty to launch a year round 1:1 employee match program as a direct follow up to the Benevity Spark enabled initiative.
