Architecturally the solution was aligned to SAP S/4 HANA reference patterns, leveraging the SAP HANA in memory database for real time ledger processing and a modern user experience stack consistent with SAP Fiori for finance role based interaction. Interfaces and data exchange were designed to use standard SAP integration patterns for transactional exchange and month end data flows to ensure transactional integrity across operational touchpoints. Governance and rollout emphasized financial process standardization, master data governance for accounts and fixed assets, segregation of duties controls, and staged cutover of accounting periods to minimize disruption to statutory reporting. Training and change management were organized around finance, treasury, and statutory reporting teams within Parcel Force UK to operationalize new end to end accounting and close workflows.

The program emphasized standardized HR process orchestration within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and strengthened governance around workforce data stewardship.
