TechnologyOne Legacy TechnologyOne OneCouncil Asset Management Enterprise Asset Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2017
In 2016 Parkes Shire Council implemented TechnologyOne OneCouncil Asset Management. The deployment consolidated finance, payroll and Enterprise Asset Management modules to centralize asset valuation and reporting across the council in Australia. TechnologyOne OneCouncil Asset Management was established as the authoritative asset register and the primary connection point to the council financial books. Configuration work focused on the asset register, valuation and reporting engines, accounts payable invoice processing workflows and payroll posting into the general ledger. The Council configured depreciation routines, asset lifecycle tracking and valuation schedules to standardize accounting treatment and support consistent reporting from operational teams to finance. The program was delivered as a year long implementation and went live in July 2017, aligning transactional flows between the asset register and financial ledgers. Operational coverage included finance, works and asset management groups, with tighter integration between accounts payable and the asset ledger to reduce manual invoice processing and to ensure capitalisation rules were applied at source. Governance was updated to centralize the asset register and enforce reconciliations between asset records and financial books, adapting approval and capitalisation workflows. Reported outcomes included improved asset valuation and reporting and reduced manual invoice processing, realized through the TechnologyOne OneCouncil Asset Management implementation.
