In 2020, Peoples Trust partnered with Nymbus to build digital brands and deploy Nymbus Pay as its Payment Processing platform, initiating a multi-year program that culminated in a full core conversion completed in 2025. The implementation focused on finance and payments, with explicit coverage for card issuance and payment processing across the bank’s United States retail and business customer channels.
Nymbus Pay was configured to support integrated card issuance and instant-issuance workflows alongside traditional payment processing capabilities. Implemented functional modules included card issuance orchestration, payment transaction processing, and customer-facing digital payment capabilities that support both in-branch and online issuance scenarios.
The engagement included Peoples Trust as a named participant in Nymbus’ card and instant-issuance integration work, and the 2025 core conversion tied Nymbus Pay into the bank’s core processing environment to enable end-to-end payment flows. Operational scope covered finance and payments teams as well as branch operations, improving the handoff between card issuance services and transaction processing in the United States.
Program governance was organized around finance and payments ownership with coordinated rollout across branch and digital channels, reflecting a staged integration path from digital brand builds to full core conversion. The effort produced faster in-branch card issuance and upgraded digital payment capabilities for retail and business customers, while maintaining a concentrated implementation scope on Payment Processing and card services.
