In 2023, PepGen implemented Veeva Vault Training as its Learning and Development solution to formalize GxP training and employee qualification processes across the organization. The implementation targeted PepGen’s quality and operations functions within a roughly 100 person life sciences company, focusing on accelerating onboarding and improving training visibility.
The Veeva Vault Training deployment was configured to deliver end to end learning management, including assignment of courses, accredited eLearning delivery, progress tracking, and documented employee qualification workflows. Implementation leveraged Veeva LearnGxP capabilities for validated eLearning and used Vault Training’s course and curriculum management to centralize content and automate recurring training requirements.
Operational integration included linkage with Veeva Vault QualityDocs and Veeva LearnGxP to create a continuous compliance loop between training records, quality documentation, and validated course content. The combined architecture provided a single source for training content, qualification status, and audit evidence, supporting inspection readiness and GxP compliance requirements stated by the vendor.
Governance changes focused on standardizing qualification and onboarding workflows, centralizing assignment and completion tracking, and maintaining validated records for audits. Training governance formalized roles for quality and training managers to assign curricula, review qualification status, and retain evidence within the unified Veeva Vault ecosystem.
PepGen reported that Veeva Vault Training and Veeva LearnGxP improved efficiency and fostered a more engaging training environment, supporting the company’s commitment to quality excellence and compliance as described by company quality leadership. The implementation emphasizes audit readiness through validated training content and consolidated training records rather than operational cost or performance claims.
