| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2013 | 2014 |
In 2013, Perficient implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial system. The deployment supported corporate finance and billing workflows tied to a St. Louis corporate office administrator role that coordinated activity across ten worldwide offices and supported more than 7,000 colleagues. Oracle E-Business Suite was used as the central financial engine for vendor invoicing and project billing processes.
Configuration focused on time entry validation and client billing orchestration, with operational controls driven by TER report checks and weekly timecard processes. Functional capabilities in Oracle E-Business Suite included vendor invoice processing, project invoicing and close activities, and pre-close financial reporting, enabling the finance organization to evaluate projects for invoicing and closure. The system was used to submit and invoice vendor time directly from EBS, reflecting accounts payable and project accounting workflows.
Operational handoffs were explicit between CLM and Oracle E-Business Suite, with vendors created in CLM and associated background checks and personal documentation uploaded there, then vendor time submitted into Oracle E-Business Suite for invoicing. This established a vendor master to AP invoicing flow linking contract and vendor onboarding tasks to the ERP Financial invoicing pipeline. The implementation covered corporate finance and shared services activities across multiple global offices and day to day administrative coordination.
Governance and process controls emphasized time entry verification according to TER reports, running pre-close reports, and closing issues prior to invoicing, with administrators assisting colleagues to ensure weekly timecards were submitted so clients could be billed on time. Daily operational tasks included scanning and routing mail, creating vendors in CLM, and submitting vendor invoices in EBS as part of standard close and billing cycles. These procedures framed practical workflow and control points inside Oracle E-Business Suite for Perficient's ERP Financial operations.
