The implementation was extended to include Esker’s Purchasing automation solution, centralizing purchase request approvals and related documentation so purchase-to-pay P2P workflows could be executed from a single document repository. A supplier portal was implemented as part of the deployment, enabling suppliers to check payment status and history directly and reducing calls to Pet Lovers Centre’s AP specialists. Operational coverage targeted core finance functions, specifically accounts payable and purchasing, and centralized document access reduced time spent locating missing documentation. Governance shifted toward automated P2P workflow orchestration with electronic approval trails and consolidated document management. The project delivered stated improvements in speed and visibility across invoicing and purchasing, and materially reduced supplier inquiries by providing self-service access to payment information.

Operational integrations and touchpoints were structured around time management and statutory channels, the HR team checked the TMS for casual staff twice a month and prepared upload files for import to payroll. The implementation supported electronic submissions to government and payroll channels, including e-submission to IRAS for tax clearance of foreign employees, CPF online submission before the 14th of the following month, monthly NS pay e-submission for make-up pay claims, and IR8E annual employment income data upload. Systems administration and governance responsibilities were formalized within Unit4 Prosoft HRMS, including creating new codes, managing leave types and user access rights, vendor liaison for system upgrades and issue resolution, and regular preparation and submission of payroll management reports. The HR function also used the system to prepare inter-billing files and cheque listings for Finance, process CPF e-applications for maternity and childcare leave claims, handle Director confirmation letters and payroll audits, participate in statutory surveys such as the Manpower Survey, and manage annual renewals for group insurance and software maintenance.
