In 2006, Pexco implemented Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise as its ERP Financial application. The deployment established Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise as the central financial ledger for this U.S. professional services firm of approximately 500 employees, bringing transactional finance and accounting activity into a single ERP Financial system.
The Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise implementation emphasized core financial modules typical for ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and payroll. Operationally the system was introduced into an environment where staff were computer literate across Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, QuickBooks, Mas90, IFS and AS400, supporting routine data exchange and Office based reporting practices. Governance concentrated on centralized financial controls, documented accounting procedures and role based access to standardize AP and AR processing and protect fiscal integrity during the rollout.
