In 2019 PicPay implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as an ERP Financial initiative to strengthen finance and accounting controls across the business. The deployment focused on financial accounting workflows and cash visibility, aligning Oracle Cloud ERP with reporting requirements introduced that year.
During the rollout a leases control for IFRS 16 was created and a cash flow process was implemented when the standard became effective in 2019, with the author retaining operational responsibility for those controls. The leases control and cash flow configuration were implemented inside Oracle Cloud ERP financial modules to produce an economic view of lease obligations in financial reports.
The program included a structured test phase in which the author led testing activities, identified defects, and cataloged significant enhancement requests for Oracle Cloud ERP. Operational coverage centered on finance and treasury functions at PicPay, and governance formalized ongoing maintenance of the IFRS 16 lease control and cash flow reporting processes as part of monthly financial close.

In 2019 PicPay implemented Feedzai AI Platform within its payments environment to strengthen transaction security and fraud detection, aligning the deployment with ML and Data Science Platforms capabilities for real time risk scoring. PicPay is the largest payment application in Brazil with more than 10 million users, and the Feedzai AI Platform was positioned to operate at transaction scale to meet user expectations for swift operations.
The Feedzai AI Platform implementation centered on machine learning model orchestration, real time transaction scoring, and behavioral analytics to detect fraud and financial crime. The platform was configured to analyze thousands of transactions per second, applying supervised and unsupervised detection workflows, model management, and automated alerting to support operational risk teams.
Operational integration was focused on ingesting PicPay transaction streams and embedding Feedzai AI Platform scoring into payment processing flows, enabling inline decisioning to accelerate processing. The deployment impacted payments operations, security and fraud investigation functions, and customer transaction processing workflows, with the Feedzai AI Platform serving as the core ML and Data Science Platforms capability for these business functions.
Governance and process changes emphasized embedding AI driven risk monitoring into PicPay’s operational procedures, with executive confirmation that the move prioritized transaction security. Company statements also highlighted performance gains and operational efficiency as explicit outcomes from the Feedzai AI Platform implementation.

In 2021, PicPay implemented DNK Smart Bot to automate customer-service and contact-center interactions across channels in Brazil. PicPay deployed the DNK Smart Bot application within the Chatbots and Conversational AI category to extend self-service capacity and reduce live-agent load, a capability attribution drawn from vendor reporting and DNK's client roster rather than a published PicPay case study.
DNK Smart Bot was configured to deliver conversational automation consistent with Chatbots and Conversational AI capabilities, including intent recognition, dialog management, and channel orchestration to support multi-channel customer engagement. Available sources do not detail specific integrations with backend systems, so architecture-level claims for connectors or middleware are not made. Governance emphasis would be on conversation escalation and agent handoff workflows to preserve contact-center service continuity, and vendor-reported outcomes include improved self-service capacity and reduced live-agent load in PicPay's Brazilian customer-service operations.
