| Oracle | Microsoft Dynamics NAV | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2014 | 2015 |
In 2014 Pizza Hut implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its core ERP Financial system across its Pakistan operations, migrating from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to centralize accounting and transactional workflows. The deployment was built on Oracle 11g and consolidated Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales & Distribution, Fixed Assets, Production, and Human Resource with Payroll into a single Oracle E-Business Suite instance to standardize back-office processing.
The technical architecture paired Oracle 11g ERP with Oracle BI Publisher for BI and reporting, while the retail front end remained on a Microsoft SQL Server and .Net based Point of Sale. The Oracle E-Business Suite implementation included configuration of modules typical to the ERP Financial category, with automation in order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory replenishment, fixed asset accounting, and payroll posting workflows.
Operational scope covered more than 150 outlets across Pakistan and a 120 plus agent call center, with the program responsible for 99.9% uptime between call center and outlets. Integrations implemented during rollout included real-time connectivity between the Point of Sale and the Oracle E-Business Suite, first time integration of Food Panda aggregator orders into the POS in Pakistan, a Bank Alliance Discount Management system on a real-time basis, and biometric time capture integrated with the HRMS payroll module.
Governance and IT operations were structured to set objectives and strategies for the IT department, operate the Oracle platform, and manage franchise distribution processes. Notable achievements recorded as part of the program include successful implementation of the Sales & Distribution module to support sub franchisee inventory supply, deployment of a guest experience survey engagement plan for the MENA YUM region, and delivery of biometric integration with HRMS payroll for time and attendance reconciliation.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 Pizza Hut implemented Oracle Absence Management as part of Yum! Brands' broader Oracle HCM Cloud program. The deployment aligns Pizza Hut with Absence and Leave Management capabilities centrally managed under Yum! Brands governance described by Sharon Perkins and integration lead Chris Costakes of Elire, Inc during the Quest Forum Cloud Week event.
Oracle Absence Management was configured alongside Core HR, Time and Labor, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent modules that were part of the same rollout. Configuration work focused on standard absence workflows, entitlement calculation, leave tracking, and absence reporting, leveraging Absence and Leave Management functionality to support payroll cadence and workforce scheduling requirements.
Integrations were executed to synchronize absence records with Oracle HCM Cloud core HR and Time and Labor, ensuring data flows support weekly and bi weekly payroll processes across U.S. Brands including Pizza Hut, KFC, and Taco Bell. The implementation narrative presented by Yum! Brands and Elire, Inc emphasized reusable integration methodologies, interface orchestration, and data reconciliation patterns used to maintain consistency across HR, payroll, and time systems.
Governance followed a wave based rollout model used by Yum! Brands, with centralized program oversight, brand level HR process alignment, and staged go lives that grouped corporate and brand populations. The Pizza Hut Oracle Absence Management deployment sits within that program context, reflecting coordinated configuration, integration, and operational ownership between Yum! Brands central teams and brand HR operations.
