In 2018 Policaro Group implemented Reynolds and Reynolds ERA-IGNITE, deploying the Dealership Management application to support its automotive retail operations in Canada. The rollout focused on dealership-level New and Pre-Owned sales operations and established ERA-IGNITE as the primary system for inventory, lead, and finance workflow orchestration across sales support functions.
Reynolds and Reynolds ERA-IGNITE was configured to support core Dealership Management capabilities including inventory management and stocking, sales CRM and lead tracking using C@P performance reports, consignment documentation for pre-owned vehicles, and lease portfolio audit and grounding processes. Configuration work emphasized pre-inventory and stock-in procedures for incoming units, structured reconditioning and certification workflows for Porsche Certified and Safety Certified statuses, and daily reconciliation of sales calls and internet leads.
The implementation included explicit operational integrations with One-Eighty for inventory posting, with payment and lien workflows executed via RBC Express to Porsche Financial Services Canada, and with public listing feeds to Porsche Finder for new car presentation. Operational coverage spanned the Pre-Owned and New Sales departments, and required coordination between Sales Support Administrators, Pre-Owned Managers, Internal Advisors, and dealership technicians to link inspection and reconditioning activities into ERA-IGNITE inventory records.
Governance centered on role-based operational procedures and daily controls, where Sales Support Administrators generate and review C@P reports to monitor Leads in Process, Unattended Leads, Average Activities per Day, and Test Drive activity. Process changes formalized consignment agreement preparation, ACH/EFT payment posting for lien and loan payouts, lease portfolio auditing routines, and grounding processes for lease returns, embedding those workflows into ERA-IGNITE transaction and audit trails.
